President Akufo-Addo dissolves GFA

President Akufo-Addo has dissolved the Ghana Football Association after a private investigative company, Tiger Eye PI documented rampant bribery and corruption in the game which is a passion for Ghanaian The dissolution comes 24 hours after the public screening of the documentary at the Accra International Conference Center reduced the Association to ridicule and severe trolling on social media. The President of the Association was filmed collecting $65,000 from ‘investors’ to influence the president and vice-president to get road He is under investigation for defrauding by false pretence. Sources say a statement is expected from the Presidency communicating the President’s decision to dissolve the FA.

The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has urged candidates writing the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) to strive for success to enable them enjoy government’s flagship programme, Free SHS policy. In all, 509,824 candidates from 16,060 schools are expected to write the examination in 1,772 centres throughout the country. The candidates are made up of 263,295 males and 246,529 females, which is 8.9 percent increase over 2017 figure of 468,060. A prostitute turned pastor has revealed how she used to drug her little son to make him sleep for long hours so she could get time to go out at night for her sex work.
