Financial Journalists undergo training in oil and gas reporting NewsFeb 27, 2015

About 30 financial and economic journalists in the country have been trained on oil and gas reporting with opportunity of interacting with key stakeholders in the industry. In developing Ghana’s nascent oil and gas industry, it is a fact that the media plays a great role and for that, journalists capacities needed to be built in order to report accurately and consistently with indepth knowledge. “Dumsor” Will Be Banished Forever In 2015—Mahama

President John Mahama has said his Government will banish erratic power supply (dumsor) from the country in 2015. “The year 2015 will be one filled with fruitfulness, joy, peace, good health and development. Osafo-Maafo is a “coward” for disowning his own voice – NDC

    Former Minister of finance Yaw Osafo-Maafo is a “coward”, the Eastern Regional branch of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said in a statement, over his Office’s denial that he ever made ethnocentric comments recently, when he met some party members and leaders in the Region, to the effect that even though CLOSE to 90 per cent of Ghana’s resources are concentrated in Akan-dominated areas, it is non-Akans who come from areas without resources that are at the helm of governance. The Communications Director of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Solomon Nkansah, has claimed that President John Dramani Mahama was sent by God to permanently end the recurrent energy crisis.
