Government responds to NPP concerns on $7 billion ENI-Sankofa deal

  Government has described calls by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to have the Italian Prime Minster, Mateo Renzi, review the terms of the ENI-Sankofa gas deal as needless because its claims are misleading. Britain’s Cameron says ‘real progress’ made in talks with European Union

  British Prime Minister David Cameron says proposals to change Britain’s relationship with the European Union reflect “real progress,” but that more work must be done. He spoke after European Council President Donald Tusk on Tuesday unveiled proposals aimed at keeping Britain in the 28-nation European Union. Captain Smart ‘grills’ Regional minister over eviction of Fulani herdsmen

  The killing of two residents in Agogo in the Ashanti Region has sparked the latest uproar against the activities of Fulani herdsmen. The nomads have been accused of perpetrating crimes including murder and rape besides the destruction of farm crops through grazing by their cattle. Residents of Agogo and surrounding communities have for years raised concerns about the activities of Fulanis and their cattle in the area.
