Charlotte Osei tells Turkish agency to seek legal remedy over plagiarism claims

Chairperson of the Electoral Commission Charlotte Osei has rejected claims that it has plagiarized the logo of a Turkish educational institute, Yedi Sistem. She hinted that the institute is free to assert its “rights under the law” if it feels its artistic work has been plagiarized. The new logo stirred controversy especially on a social media after pictures of a similar logo popped up. While the Turkish logo has a white background inside the circle, that of the Electoral Commission has blue. There are at least four discernible differences between the two logos. Unemployed Nurses Storm Flagstaff House

  Members of the Coalition for Unemployed Bonded Nurses, Midwives and Psychiatric Nurses say they are going ahead with their planned demonstration scheduled to take place at the Flagstaff House tomorrow. They say they are tired of deception by the Mahama-led administration and that nothing is stopping them from going ahead with the intended protest. EC officially launches new logo

    The Electoral Commission (EC) has explained that it removed the coat of arms from its new logo because it [EC] did not represent the authority of the state. ‘We also removed the ballot box because our work is beyond just the ballot box,’ the EC Chairperson, Mrs Charlotte Osei said at the launch of its five-year strategic plan. Do cell phones in pants pockets really cause male infertility?

  Men who use their cell phone for long periods of time each day or keep their phone in close proximity to their groin area may risk lowering the quality of their sperm and becoming infertile, a team of researchers at The Technion Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel, have determined. Publishing the results of their recent study in an issue of Reproductive Biomedicine Online, the team said it gave 106 men referred for semen analysis questionnaires assessing demographic data and characteristics of cell phone usage.
