NDC Attack Dogs On the loose – Says Amidu

Former Attorney General, Martin A.B.K. Amidu has described two top opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) officials as ‘attack dogs’ who are engaging in what he called ‘monotonous acts of character assassination.’ According to the former AG, the NDC National Organizer, Kofi Adams and the party’s deputy General Secretary, Koku Anyidoho are deliberately making unfounded allegations against him. 90 illegal miners arrested in anti-galamsey operation

Some Ninety illegal miners who have been apprehended by government’s anti-illegal mining task force Operation Vanguard have been arraigned in various parts of the country. The miners were arrested in some illegal mining areas in the Ashanti, Eastern and Western Regions within a period of two weeks. The task force has also seized some equipment from the miners. President Cuts Sod For New Cement Factory

  President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is expected to lay the foundation stone for the construction of a technologically-advanced cement grinding factory for CBI Ghana at the Tema Free Zones Enclave on Tuesday, 15th August, 2017. Special security agency needed to protect natural resources

I would jail three persons a week to keep Accra clean – Rawlings

Former President Jerry John Rawlings has proposed a radical approach towards dealing with filth in Accra. Speaking at the Ada Asafotufiam Festival, the former President said if given the opportunity, he would jail a minimum of three persons a week for sanitation related offenses till Accra’s sanitation situation improved. “You are lucky the position given to me is just a ceremonial one.
