Andanis Reject Otumfuo’s Peace Roadmap

The Andani Royal family has withdrawn from the Asantehene, Otumfou Osei Tutu II, led mediation committee. The family said at a press conference in Tamale Saturday accused the committee tasked to develop a roadmap to peace in Dagbon after the brutal assassination of its overlord, the late Yaa-Naa Yakubu Andani II and many others and destruction of the Gbewaa Palace at Yendi of bias. Consider ‘National Security’ When Passing RTI Bill Into Law – Kufuor To Parliamen

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has said security concerns must not be ignored amid the clamour for passage for the Right to Information (RTI) Bill. “We must look at security and stability in working of the Bill,” he remarked at the Annual Leadership Series organised by the University of Professional Studies on Wednesday.
