*Agric Minister pays working visit to Bono East region, urges Banks to support Agribusinesses in Ghana*

The Minister for food and Agriculture Hon. Owusu Afriyie Akoto together with his deputy Hon. Kennedy Osei Nyarko has paid a working visit to the Bono East region where the team went on a field tour to the Akrofrom Christian Mothers Gari Processing Facility and some selected Planting for Food & Jobs demonstration farms at Offuman all in the Techiman North District.

As part of the visit, a stakeholder meeting including all District Directors of Agric, Input Dealers, Farmer Associations, Market Queens among others was also held at Encom Hotel in Techiman the Bono East regional capital.

The Minister for Food & Agriculture further reiterated the need for Banks to support people who are into Agribusinesses in the country while hinting that government is in negotiation with the Bank of Ghana to help secure funds to assist Private people who are investing in Agriculture
