Madam Abena Fosuwaa, mother of the victim who lives in Kumawu Besoro in the Ashanti Region with the victim, Christiana Kyei 23 and her bother, Ampong Ankomah Joseph, disclosed this to Benjamin Nandomah of Sunshine FM when he visited them.
According to Madam Fosuwaa, the paralysis has been with her daughter for as long as 18 years and has grown from bad to worse as time passed by.
“My daughter’s condition has been a serious problem to me because, it drained of the little money that we could’ve been feeding on. Aside that, the run round with my daughter looking for her good health is nothing to write home about. She has been taken to Duan Nkwanta hospital and Okonfour Anokye Teaching hospital on several occasions where she had always been injected but matters got worsened. I later lost it when we were finally asked to pay an amount of money for another treatment and had reside to taking care of my daughter in the house here.
I didn’t know we were going to face many more challenges in the house even including feeding till now” Madam Fosuwaa narrate.
She added that back in the house, Christiana is always carried through a high door and bathed in a basin after which the water disposed and later carried on another stirs into room where they live.
Madam Fosuwaa hereby calls on the general public and other philanthropists to come to their aid as they live with the paralysis throughout their lives.
“I am calling on the general public and other philanthropists especially who has come across my story, is willing and able to help us to come to our aid. We are currently not thinking going back to any hospital again because Christiana could talk before she took the injection at Okonfo Anokye Teaching hospital and could on ever tell if she wanted to ease herself” She pleaded
She also used the opportunity to thank the person who gave them the room that they are currently living in and pray that God richly bless him and his family.
